Collection of Characters

Many of you are probably wondering how these stories came to be.  Better yet, have you wondered who inspired Micky, Aaron, and Chuckie?  Well, sit back, and relax.  Let me show how these three little characters emerged.....

Mickey is an adorable little boy with one of kindest heart around.  He loves to make people happy and his feelings get hurt easily.  He wants everyone to like him, which can sometimes get him into trouble.  This can be tough for poor Mickey at times, but as you will see through the progression of adventures that he has with his friends he will grow, mature, and gain a confident heart.

The character Mickey, is inspired by my son Domenick, affectionately known as Nicky.  Nicky also has a great heart and is very sensitive.  He has a deep love for Jesus, and has been nicknamed "preacher."  He lovingly keeps all of us accountable for our actions.  Throughout the last few years I have truly begun to see his unique personality and a great amount of independence develop.  These have been exciting times, that many of the stories are based upon.

Aaron is quiet little guy who likes to do the right thing.  He loves making his mommy happy and bringing smiles to his friends' faces.  He tends to be the "voice of reason" on many of the boys' adventures but Mickey and Chuckie don't always listen.

Aaron is a character that was created from my years of interactions with young children.  So many little ones love to make their parents and friends happy.  It is always refreshing to see a young child attempt to remind their friends what a better choice may be made instead of the one they are about to make.

Chuckie...ahhh Chuckie...he is the enthusiastic, energetic,  and curious to one of the group.  If there is something to get into, Chuckie will find it.  If there is an adventure to go on, Chuckie will be the first to arrive.  While Chuckie is a very bright child, he tends to look at what can we do next, without thinking of possible consequences.

Chuckie is not based on a single little guy, but rather many little boys that I have taught over the years, or been blessed to be a mommy to.  Chuckie is the epitome of boy...do it now, think about it later.  Impulsive is his middle name.  In the boys adventures Chuckie is learning some self control and also what happens when we act without thinking.

Well, now that you've been introduced to my three boys, are you ready to go on our first exploit of Mickey, Aaron, and Chuckie.
